Head Veterinary Technician.

Wachusett Animal Hospital and Pet Retreat is excited to announce a new  opening for a full time Head Veterinary Technician to join our Team. Must be a motivated self starter with an attention to detail and the ability to lead a team, have a positive attitude, the ability to lift 40lbs, excellent  communication skills and strong work ethic. Our staff will be  compassionate and committed to providing the best patient care and  client service. We are well equipped with state of the art in-house lab  equipment, dentistry, digital X-Ray and digital dental X-Ray. Duties  include restraint, client education, cleaning, and animal care. Many  opportunities in intensive and emergency medicine, dentistry and soft  tissue surgery. Must be available for some holiday and weekend shifts. 1 year of experience as a Head Veterinary Technician, 2-4 years  experience as a Veterinary Technician and CVT is required; emergency  experience a plus.
