Dr. Caroline Fitzgerald
Dr. Fitzgerald has wanted to work with animals for as long as she can remember, and decided to become a vet while she was still in high school.
She attended Umass Amherst as an undergrad, where she majored in pre-vet. She then graduated from veterinary school at St.George's University in 2019.
She joined the Wachusett Animal Hospital team upon graduating and has been loving working as a vet ever since. She takes a special interest in surgery.
Dr. Fitzgerald has three dogs. Lyle, whom she rescued from the island she went to vet school on, Sammie, rescued from work due to her kidney failure, and Annie, adopted from a rescue group.
During her downtime, Dr. Fitzgerald enjoys going to concerts, walking her dogs, and hanging with friends and family.
